What Social Media Have Done To Us.

In this world of globalization, there is no doubt that the social media is not conquering the human race. Especially to us; teenagers. Social media brings a lot of effects towards us all. There are many type of social media in this technological world. Once you're on the internet, you will never can turn back. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot, and so many more. 


Social media are a form of media to stay connect with each other. So with this, people get to stay connected even when they are miles away from each other. Besides that, we get to make new friends through the social network. There are records that now, married couples first met from the world wide web. Social media also enhance the general knowledge by providing us information from all over the world. Doesn't matter in a form of old media nor the new media. Other that that, we also can express our feelings and what we think through blogging. 


Nevertheless, there are also the bad side of social media. Short forms. I mean, super short forms. This media makes us right in what they call it 'social language'. Such as LOL, LMFAO, Y U NO, and etc. What does those words mean? It's damaging our English grammar. Kids won't be able to write proper English. Futhermore, this so called 'social' are also making those who are addicted to them anti-social. They spent more time in front of their computer instead of hanging out with friends outside of the house. 


To rap up everything, social media brings good and also bad effects towards us. Without them also brings good yet bad effects. So no difference. Well, I'm closing in my post with a video about our topic for this week. Enjoy! :3
